MKE Week 17HJ – the Hero’s Journey

BLOG Week 17HJ heros-Journey

You probably wonder what is the Hero’s Journey. The Wikipedia says: In narratology and comparative mythology, the monomyth, or the hero’s journey, is the common template of a broad category of tales that involve a hero who goes on an adventure, and in a decisive crisis wins a victory, and then comes home changed or transformed. More simply said, I’d say it is the journey the MKE program sets us on: first answering the call to start the adventure toward our highest selves (that about 90% of us refuse). When accepted, with supernatural aid and guardians, helpers and mentors, exerting courage we cross the threshold getting from the known into the unknown, deciding to love or slay our dragon. This leads to transformation toward our divine spirit/authentic soul, reaching atonement becoming “transparent to the transcendent” in service to others. Here is another part of the personal transformation that has been and is still happening…

“Things” in my life really started to spiral up (“happen”) since we have started the Franklin Makeover. What a clever tool with so much pay-off! Undeniably I feel more successful, but as a consequence overloaded especially this week (still a week behind on schedule) … Luckily two of the virtues coming up on my list are Self Control (perfect timing: next week) and Well organized (in 3 weeks) I will consider doing earlier if Self Control doesn’t do the trick!

So this is what happened till and during this Week 17 HJ … Not only the virtues I chose during the 4  previous weeks -Discipline, Courage and Decisiveness-  contributed to a considerable increase of daily personal and professional activity -by being more productive (Discipline), more pro-active (courage) and more effective (decisiveness)- but I excitingly have added an additional commitment for Jan-Feb-March 2019 within my Essential Oils business company Young Living: 90 Day Dash. This event was created right before we started it early January 2019 and actually fell perfectly into place as a mean to manifest one piece of my DMP -thanks Carmel for pointing this out!- Thanks to the MKE exercises and progressions accomplished for the last 3 months, the person I became at the beginning of the new year 2019 didn’t have any hesitation/fear/excuses/judgment/blame/etc the “old” Christelle would have demonstrated as to get on this additional challenge (however behind on the tasks too) …

Being “on the go” is normal for me, but now I’m even more self- directed, driven, focused, creative, daring, with quicker thinking…. finding my voice more and more, feeling so much more easily detached from the world without and its impact on me because more confident and powerful, but in a more loving way now -versus in a more confronting way before-. I feel I can’t stop the machine! I can say it is a great problem to have however my sleep and exercise times are getting sacrificed as my task list is getting bigger and I want to keep accomplishing, complete them .. being led unconsciously by “I always keep m promises”, Scroll #3 “I persist until I succeed”, Scroll #4 “A hundredfold or more can I increase my accomplishments of yesterday and this I do, beginning today.” among others. This system really works!

In my next blog I’ll address and reveal the intentions behind additional tasks we have been asked to complete daily.

See you over on Week 18!  😉
